Petition from the daughter of Hilāl 'Shaykh al-Yahūd' of Ashqelon to Yaḥyā ha-Sar. In the hand of Ḥalfon b. […] The addressee is identical with the addressee of T-S 20.120 (also a Yaḥyā ha-Sar with some of the same titles: שר בית ישראל זקן התפארה הוד השררה), which may date closer to 1100 than to 1138, as it mentions a figure close to the governor (wālī) named Ṣārim al-Dawla, a relatively unusual title which was held by a Fatimid ruler in Ashqelon under Badr al-Jamālī and his son al-Afḍal ca. 1100 CE. In any case, the sender of this petition is asking for financial support for herself and her children, because she used to be supported by her two brothers in Ashqelon (one is named Saʿd and serves as 'khādim al-yahūd'), but the two brothers are facing difficulties of their own and have cut her off.

Relating how 10 Jewish sages, somehow related to a stylite named Baḥira, made a subterfuge of joining themselves to Muḥammad but actually sought to corrupt the Quran in order to protect the Jewish people. […] The 10 sages are named, including characters well-known from Islamic literature (e.g., Kaʿb al-Aḥbār and the father of Muḥammad's Jewish concubine Ṣafiyya) and characters that are not otherwise attested and have quite unusual epithets (e.g., al-Munhazim ilā l-Janna). Sālim al-Sanhūrī. Literary sources (e.g. https://shamela.ws/book/2138/22) attest to a Mālikī faqīh known as Sālim al-Sanhūrī who died in 1010 AH = 1601/02 CE.

[…] There are no boats in Alexandria for shipping. Greetings from Moshe b. Yehuda, a cantor. Abū Saʿīd has now been sick (ʿalīl) for eight [days, probably]. In the right margin there appears to be the draft of the beginning of a different letter.

Letter from Abū l-Ḥayy b. Ṣāliḥ al-Ṣabbāgh, in Palermo, to Barhūn b. Mūsā al-Tāhartī. […] He booked passage on a ship (qunbār) belonging to a man from Tinnīs, but he waited and waited, and all the other ships ("even the ships of Tripoli") set sail. At last, the night of sleeping on the ship (al-mabīt) arrived, but in the middle of the night, the government commandeered the ship and its goods and turned out all the passengers, including even Abū l-Ḥayy the Unlucky (al-ḍaʿīf al-najm) (is he referring to himself?).

Dated: 1412 Seleucid (1100/1101 CE), the year א׳ת׳י׳ב׳ is barely visible in line 19 along the lower paper tear. This court record notes the reorganization of a business venture after one of the partners absconded with some of the partnership capital. Abū Mansūr Aharon b. Mevasser al-Zayyat contracted a partnership in an oil and legume shop in Ḥammām al-Faʾr (the "Rat" bathhouse), also known as the shop of Ibn Shahrayn al-Jazzār, with Abū ʿImrān Moshe b. Mordekhay ha-Kohen and Abū Saʿd b. Abū l-ʿAlāʾ, the latter of whom may have been Aharon's brother.

In the second part of this addendum, a physician titled al-Muhadhdhab (unclear if he is identical with the one just mentioned) asks Pinḥas to convey the document to the hands of Eliyyahu the Judge.

(A) Mubāraka, the mother of Sitt al-Ahl, gives her daughter two ornaments worth 6 3/4 dinars as a gift. […] (Dated: 1126 CE.)
