Description

Probably an Ayyubid capitation tax receipt. Headed by the ʿalāma "iʿtimādī ʿālā khāliqī." The next line refers to an Aleppan Jew ([...] Yahūdī Ḥalabī). The next two lines seem to indicate that this is for the payment of the capitation tax in Gaza (....جزيته بمدينة غزة المحروسة...عليه الصحة). The sum looks like 13 Nāṣirī dirhams (https://geniza.github.io/paleographicalglossary/item.html?id=ccg0067). The coinage allows the document to be dated to no earlier than 1187 CE. There may be an explicit date at lower right (9th of something?) but this is difficult to read. Reused on recto for a piyyuṭ in a rudimentary hand (and fully vocalized) attributed to Shelomo ha-Kohen.
