The second row of T-S AS 132.176 mentions ambergris; the third row begins "wa-ayḍan," and the fifth row looks like it mentions "the shroud of the mother" (fī kafan al-wālida), but this is probably wrong. Genealogical list of the family of Avraham Maimonides' mother (the wife of Moshe Maimonides), a family in which nearly every member is described as "he-Ḥasid" ("the pious"). Her father was al-Shaykh al-Thiqa Mishaʾel b. Yeshaʿyahu ha-Levi. The heading of the list is damaged but appears to refer to Abū Naṣr (b.) al-Shaykh al-Thiqa, i.e., Maimonides' brother-in-law Yeshaʿyahu b. […] In general, genealogical lists in the Geniza are not always accurate or consistent to every generation.

(Document #23) Complex real estate transaction explaining multiple phases of shifting ownership over shares in a residential qāʿa on Darb al-Naṣūr (presumably in Cairo). A wide variety of names and the qodesh of the Mustaʿrab congregation are mentioned, such as: Avraham al-Eytī (אליתי) aka Skandarī, Avraham Kohen, Marḥaba [surname missing], Klara (Clara) bt. Moshe ha-Levi the widow of Shemuʾel al-Eytī, and the scribe of the document itself Nissim De Aragon. The entry also mentions a hujja in connection with the property that was issued on 18 Shawwāl 1088 AH (1677 CE).

Letter from Abū ʿAlī b. Abū l-Mānī, in Constantinople, to his father-in-law Yosef al-Baghdādī, in Egypt. Dating: Probably first half of the 12th century, based on the probable mention of the same writer in T-S 13J21.17 (there referred to as Abū ʿAlī the son-in-law of the Ḥaver al-Baghdādī, the pancake-maker). In this letter, Abū ʿAlī recounts how he met his wife, Yosef's daughter, when they were both in captivity.

IB VII, 36. Letter from Alexandria to a merchant in Fustat (Gil) or from Fusṭāṭ to Aden (Goitein). […] Gil's description: the letter contains a list of the prices of different goods and mentions collecting debt in Aden and persecution of merchants from Genoa in Alexandria. Goitein's partial translation: "The Sultan [al-Malik al-Afqal] imprisoned the Genoese, which caused great consternation among the Rum [here: Europeans in general] and no goods can be sold because of this.

Account and agreement between the Qodesh and a partner, ca. 1156. A certain al-Nadiv, otherwise known as the perfume maker, tenant of a compound partly owned by the qodesh known as al-Burj, carried out repairs (probably in that compound) for which the qodesh owes him 19.5 dinars. […] As the qodesh will pay half of this, its total debt will come to 12 dinars. Also, some minor improvements in the compound will be made jointly. […] For this purpose, a deed of lease will be written in a Muslim court also. This arrangement is made toward the end of January 1156, one month before the former lease expires on the 24th of February.

Also the letter of a high notable named Abū l-Ḥusayn arrived (it's unclear who this is, probably not the same as the addressee); his name is followed by a blessing for his "rule" (adāma Allāh ʿizz sulṭānih). Fragment of a calligraphic letter with wide line spacing addressed to “our master” (sayydinā) and referring to a letter addressed to 'all the congregations pertaining to the city of the king (=Cairo)... to all the congregations of the land of Israel and Canaan, and all the exiles beyond the river...." […] The purpose of this letter is to "raise our oppression" to his "court" (majlis al-ḥukm). The case concerns what happened after the death of [...]el Ibn al-Makhmūrī. […] Seems to be a letter of condolence on the death of a dignitary, possibly Ibn al-Makhmūrī from verso, or possibly unrelated. Cites Proverbs 31:29 (רבות בנות עשו חיל) (l. 6), but oddly this appears to be in reference to a man.
