This rendering from Turkish "kuyumcu," may represent Ladino pluralization "kuyumcis". This document was folded in half, and one one of the halves on verso (at 90 degrees to the text on recto) there is a draft addendum in the same handwriting, concerning the marriage conditions of Rika and Moshe, with the dowry and payments adding up to 500 gurush.

The rest of the entry also deals with a separate sum of money that ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz owes his father-in-law, of 7 gold coins, but cuts off mid-sentence before the entry was sealed.
