Verso contains an Arabic note along with doodles and sums.
Verses of Arabic poetry about absence from a beloved, copied on both recto and verso, accompanied by doodles. Pinholes in the margin match those of ENA 3948.5, suggesting both were sewn into a book binding or textile stiffener.
Recto: Some sort of kabbalistic prayer, in multiple hands. At the bottom are doodles and jottings in Arabic and Hebrew. Verso: A couple lines of legalese, perhaps the beginning of a formulary of a legal document -- חזקה למי שהחזיק בחצר או בחנות.

Above it there is a line in Aramaic from the beginning of a piyyut: ברשותא דמרי עלמא הוא אלהא רבא וגברא. On verso there are doodles and pen trials in Hebrew ("ערוך מקור") and in Spanish ("hun homen a poder en mançebos" = "a man has power over boys").
One part of it (verso) looks literary, with pen trials and doodles underneath. There is also a string of titles addressing someone (al-qurashī . . . al-ajall); preceded by "in this book" (في هذا الكتاب) and followed by "may God have mercy on whoever reads it" (رحم الله من قراه), then ṣalwala and ḥamdala; beneath this there are some drawings; and above this there is what looks like a signature in Arabic script ([...] the son of Ḥaydar the brother of the in-law of al-Ḥamawī Aḥmad [...].).
Underneath that, there are doodles including a decorated square containing a basmala and the name Abū Naṣr.
