From the date only the end of the year-36- is preserved.The groom's name is Shemuʾel (l.11) and a sum of dinars is listed in line 12.
Only the bride's first name Ḥanna is preserved and the groom's entire name is missing. There is a long addendum in Hebrew explaining ketubba-related payments that is signed by R.
The superscription is nearly entirely effaced but the word ‘jarida’ (also register), mostly used on lists of the poor, is clearly visible in the second line.

The sender mentions the number 700; the possibility that (s)he will encounter a delay more than 5 days after the 'promise' (s)he made to them (a promised date of return?)
Verso: scribal exercise with formulae for book endings, in which the scribe makes his writing-implement talk in the first person.
The tens digit is ambiguous enough that the scribe may have intended 1889. In any case, the contextual clues all point to late-nineteenth-century dating.

This Ḥasana is also known from ENA 2727.18d (published by MAF, Polygyny, p. 119).
State document, official correspondence. The ends of 8 lines are preserved. Mentions obedience (al-samʿ wa-l-ṭāʿa li-l-amr), and it seems the sender is asking for orders.

Abū Saʿīd says that he entered נמרה (a place?) and came to a certain Ṣadaqa ha-Kohen....
Then perhaps a new testimony that somebody acknowledges that he owes 100 dirhams to his wife and will pay it by the end of Sivan. Witness: Hillel b. Yehuda.
Aharon ha-Kohen, his brother Shemuel, their sister Sarah, and shares in a house. It seems that Moshe ends up with 1/3 of the house and Sarah with 1/6 of the house.
In Judaeo-Arabic. Only the ending is preserved. Greetings to Zekharya and Berakhot and to the addressee's wife.
But it is very faded and only the bottom part is preserved. May be related to ENA NS 2.20 (PGPID 2671). Needs further examination.
Deed of engagement (shiddukhin). In the hand of Natan b. Shemuel ha-Ḥaver.
The format looks like a legal document, but it ends "from those who wish you peace/health," suggesting that it is rather a letter.
Recto (original use): Legal document in Arabic script. The ends of four lines are preserved. Mentions a sum of 20 dinars (min al-ʿayn al-wāzin ʿashrīn dīnār) and repeats twice that someone testified something (shahida ʿalā nafsihī).
Possibly related to BL OR 5553.1 + BL OR 5553.2 + T-S Ar.51.49 + BL OR 5553A.1 + BL OR 5553A.2 (PGPID 30817). Also related to ENA 2917.1 (PGPID 30819).

The Ladino text on the verso is a dirge (headed "qina") invoking the topos of mothers eating their children in a famine: "[U]na madre komyo asado a su hijo regal..(?) syendo gran hambre en la sivdad (ciudad) de Titus(?) serka de..." Requires further examination.
In Hebrew and Judaeo-Arabic. Consists almost entirely of flattery and blessings. On verso there are words of condolence for Mevorakh's late brother (Cohen suggests that this is Abū Zikrī Yehuda b.
ʿAwkal lent him and explains that the delay is due to difficulties that he encountered when selling the merchandise bought with this money.

Dating: Late, based on linguistic features and handwriting. The content is not entirely clear. The writer flatters the addressee, "You are the equal of 100 men; nothing passes you by."
The فاجاب واشهد clause at the end of l3 suggests that it could either be a rental agreement for the transport of weapons (asliḥa, l1) or a legal testimony.
The sender reminds the addressee 'to obtain a kitāb' concerning the shop, for the year is ending and perhaps the sender will be able to relieve himself of duties and come to Fustat.
Line 3 reads "istakhartu allāh taʿālā" and then refers to a purchase. Underneath the entries mention Abū l-Kharūf; Asad;Refaʾel or Daniʾel; al-Ṣabbāgh; and יקוף and אקלודה (meaning unclear).
Engagement (shiddukhin) contract. Location: Alexandria.

Shemuel as a naqqād in Ṣarf al-Manṣūra under a certain amir until the end of Elul, for a total salary of 2000 muayyadis.
In the heading of the upper left entry for the week of the Hazinu parsha, the year 5553 appears which is 1792/93CE.
On the recto the structure and content of entries is less clear. The paleography helps to estimate the dating of the fragment as 18th/19th-century.
Wahb corpus with a third set of registration marks (see also ENA 3942.3, PGPID 10434). Date not preserved, but presumably dates to 401–5 (1011–15) like the rest of the corpus.

Donation pledge form from Yaʿacov Kohen to the holy yeshiva (the right and the peace) for the sake of raising generosity and assistance to all the people of Israel in the world who endure every day – undated – Museum of Islamic Art – (number 224) – in Hebrew.
Decrees that the rituals be carried out according to the tradition 'wa-an yakūn al-ʿamal bi l-rusūm' and mentions 'al-dawla al-sharīfa'. Ḥamdala towards the end. Some of the text reads as "الذي على قدر حاله ......ويكون العمل بالرسوم...للاعانة على التوطن ..عن هذه الدولة الشريفة...والحمد لله وحده".
The letter consists entirely of expressions of deference, blessings for the holiday, and greetings to various people, including 'the noble lady' (al-sitt al-jalīla), 'the mother,' and Bū Zikrī (probably Shelomo's brother).
The writer wants to ship flax from Busir to Fustat, but there aren't enough boats. Contains other details about the flax market in Busir.

A document establishing some detail was made out for the sister with the same provisions as her ketubba (probably that she was entitled to part of a house); refers to a document from the Muslim courts.

Letter fragment. In Hebrew. Dating: end of the 10th or beginning of the 11th century.
Menashshe signs his name at the end surrounded by a motto. Verso: small amount of illegible text in a different hand and ink.
Concerning the dispatch of goods from Cairo and mentions the ships Enrico e Maria and Francesca. A Magen David is drawn in the margin on verso.
The letter is apparently written to the maternal uncle (a communal official) of the deserting husband. This official is encouraged to sort this matter out, so that his family sets a good example.
