In which two people testify (wa-ashhadā ʿalā anfusahimā fī ṣiḥḥa . . . ). Mentions the "aṣḥāb arbāʿ" (pl. of ṣāḥib rabʿ/rubʿ) of a certain area.
The penultimate line reads, "The whole body should be anointed with the oil of violet (banafsaj) and almond (lawz)." Hebrew literary text on verso.
Mentions a woman: [...]āl bt. Shelomo b. ʿEzra, and mentions [...]q b.

Dating: the opening lines in Judaeo-Arabic list a date range of Rajab–[Dhū] al-Qaʿda 969 AH (סטץ), which is 1562 CE. Requires further examination.
This small piece that survives includes a recommendation for the bearer (". . .the need, urgently urgently urgently. . .") and a request to go to Surūr the husband of Bint al-Shav[uy?]. On verso there are the customary closing salutations.

Dating: No earlier than 1425 CE, as the accounts on verso mention the ashrafī– which was first minted under Sultan al-Ashraf Barsbay in this year. Mentions appointing an agent (tawkīl).

One of the entries involves Abū l-Ḥasan b. Masʿūd al-Nīlī (the indigo merchant) and somebody's death.
Begins with the regular honorifics and mentions longing towards the august presence "shawq ilā l-haḍra al-sāmiyya". Reused for Hebrew script.

Letter concerning business affairs (cloth trade) in which the writer mentions people including al-Dimyāṭī, Thābit, and Abū l-Mufaḍḍal. Mentions a sum of 50 dinars corresponding to a period of 2 years.
Verso: Recipe in Arabic script. 1.5 oz of pear (ijjāṣ); tamarind; 5 dirhams each of borage (lisān thawr), violet (zahr banafsaj), and senna (sanā); and 1 mithqāl of almond oil (duhn lawz).
Poems, evidently pages from a collection, beginning with the final section of Avraham ibn Ezra's 'Aha yarad,' the lament over the communities of Spain and North Africa destroyed by the Almohads. This section deals with the communities in North Africa.
