Recto: Upper part of a letter addressed to the Nasi Amaṣyahu Yosef. In Judaeo-Arabic. Hand of Yosef b. Yaʿaqov Rosh ha-Seder? The addressee is known from several memorial lists of Qaraite Nasis, e.g. T-S 8K22.3 (PGPID 2243), Yevr. II A 1318 (PGPID 27523), and Yevr. II A 1319 (PGPID 27524). Verso: end of a letter in a different hand, concluding, "our master must not send a letter without a guard (? חרס), and he must not open (a letter) except in the presence of those who are accustomed to attend his councils (moshavot)."
