Cheat sheet:

  • If you're looking for a word with one missing letter, use a period. Two missing letters, use two periods or {2}. Increase the number in the curly brackets to increase the number of characters, or insert a range with a comma in between, ex. {0,5}.
  • If you don't know how many characters are missing, use .*.
  • If you know which characters you want, use square brackets to find multiple spellings, ex. [יו] for yud or vav.

  4. 1004LetterT-S AS 149.226

Seems to concern a communal controversy over ritual immersion ("...min amr al-ṭevila"). Mentions Rabbenu Yeḥiel (perhaps Yeḥiel the Frenchman, who was embroiled in ritual immersion politics in Jerusalem in the early 13th century; see the article of Roni Shweka, "And every day they make quarrels"). Also mentions a martyr who was killed in ʿAkko. Recto: unidentified text in Judaeo-Arabic and Hebrew, likely also a letter.
