- waraq, of Egyptian tender, for the rent of his apartment in the ṭabaqa of the upper part of
- the compound which is opposite the Synagogue of the Babylonians,
- known as (the compound) of al-Shaykh Abū Naṣr b. al-Shaykh Abūʾl-Mūna,
- of blessed memory, for one lunar year of 12 months,
- beginning on the first of the month of Adar II 1497,
- corresponding to Dhūʾl-ḥijja of the year 581.
