  3. that Abū l-Faḍl b. Mukhtār
  4. al-Iskandarī, known as Ibn

  6. Kalah, in the lands of al-Jāwah (Southeast Asia).
  7. He checked this and verified it when
  8. he arrived in the Malabar, in
  9. the lands of al-Hind (the Indian Ocean basin). After he had deposited
