Fol. 1v: Legal document in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe. In which a woman releases Ḥalfon b. Yosef and his wife Dalāl bt. Elʿazar, the daughter of her sister, from all obligations with regard to her estate, whether she should die immediately or live a long time. Possibly a form of declaring a person as sole heir against claims of the testator's brothers and sisters. (Information from Goitein's index card and CUDL.)
