תיאור

Letter fragment in Arabic script (upper right piece). The addressee is asked to "release" the dinar and purchase a maqṭaʿ cloth for the sender and perhaps to send it. "With what remains of the dinar. . ." (the text is cut off here). On recto there may be part of an address: ʿabd mawlānā ṣalawāt allāh ʿalayhi. . . wa-mamlūkuhū al-shaykh al-makīn. . . ." Recto also contains Hebrew jottings.
