תיאור

Bifolio from a court notebook. Right page: a summons written by Yefet b. David the cantor, summoning Neḥemya b. Avraham to court due to complaints against him filed by Avraham b. Shemuel ha-Levi. Dated: Thursday, 10 Tammuz 1343 Seleucid = 22 June 1032 CE. Left page (see separate PGP record): there are two entries. In the first, the court gives Shelomo b. Moshe 2 dinars for buying flour for orphans. The second involves a lawsuit in between Khalaf b. Shelomo ha-Levi and his opponent Ibrāhīm. On verso there are seliḥot (right page) and talmudic writings (left page). (Information in part from E. Bareket, Shafrir Misrayim, pp.138, 167, 169, 252)
