Legal document in the form of a letter. Fragment (bottom part only). Refers to various legal conditions, might mention sugar, and specifies a fine of dinars 'to the poor.' Then ends with phrases characteristic of a (Jewish) official letter, perhaps requesting guidance (al-amr) from a higher authority: לי אלאמר ושלומה [יגדל . . . . .] אלי שער הישיב{ה} יכון לע[ד]. Signed Yosef b. Yaʿaqov and one other person.
