Then ends with phrases characteristic of a (Jewish) official letter, perhaps requesting guidance (al-amr) from a higher authority: לי אלאמר ושלומה [יגדל . . . . .] אלי שער הישיב{ה} יכון לע[ד]. Signed Yosef b. Yaʿaqov and one other person.
