תיאור

Fatimid petition, top left side only, preserving the tarjama. Dates to the period of al-Ḥākim based on the reuse on verso. This makes it not only one of the earliest known Fatimid petitions, but the earliest attestation of a taqbīl clause on a Fatimid petition, calling into question Khan's and Rustow's theory that the taqbīl clause dates to the period of al-Āmir and later (starting 1101 CE). Mentions a large sum of money (jumla kabīra).
