Fragment of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic in a crude hand. Addressed to a community or group of elders (שיוככם שצ). The sender reports that he has granted permission to two people regarding something, perhaps speaking to a third person (פקד אשרית להמא יכלמאה), and that "he is coming to his wife and his daughter, and sees (or: there is seen) only good in them, but if he doesn't come...." Then there is something about "anyone who associates with him or does business with him" (אן ישארכה או יעאמלה אן יקצד . . . ). On verso there is the Hebrew alphabet. (Information in part from CUDL)
