Legal fragment. Very faded. Hand of Mevorakh b. Natan he-Ḥaver, whose name also appears in l.2. A number of other names are mentioned in this section, including [...] b. Yehuda (l. 3). This is followed by "fa-lammā. . ." The name and titles of the Gaʾon Netanʾel ha-Levi appear in ll. 4–5: הדרת יקרת צפירת תפארת [כבוד גדולת קדושת מרנו] ורבנו יחיד דורנו נסיכנו ונשיא אלהים בתוכנו אדוננו נתנאל הלוי. The next line refers to the bet din, and the next line refers to a document or copy being "checked" (muqābala) against another, "and this is its gist" (wa-hādhihī agrāḍ. . .) (cf. T-S 8Ja2 (PGPID 5985) for the same term used to refer to the gist of another document). The remaining lines are probably all the summary of this other document. The date is given (Heshvan 14[..]) followed by the location (probably Fustat Miṣrayim), then parties (the name Ṣedaqa appears), then acknowledgment of a debt. A woman's name Sitt al-[...] may appear in the bottom line.
