Verso (original use): Fragment of a petition or other formal state correspondence. The beginnings of 8 lines are preserved, mostly consisting of honorifics for the addressee (صلوات الله وبركاته . . . الاجل المنصور ال . . . الاكرم . . . الموقف الاشرف صاحب . . . المقام الشريف الطاهر . . . ). There are also some notations in the upper margin; these might relate to the document on recto.
