Brief note in Judaeo-Arabic probably from M[eʾir b. Yakhin] (cf. T-S 8J23.12 (PGPID 3682)) to an unknown addressee. In Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Probably late 12th or early 13th century. Mentions Bū l-Ghayth, possibly the addressee. Urges the addressee not to neglect something; the arrival of something or someone (a female slave? אלגאר[יה]) from Alexandria; and refers to terrible distress. See also T-S 13J36.11 (PGPID 8093) in which Meʾir also discusses the sale of a female slave. (Information in part from CUDL)
