Fragment (bottom part) of a power of attorney. Dating: ca. 1229/30 CE. In which al-Shaykh al-Muhadhdhab Abū l-Thanāʾ Netanʾel b. Berakhot known as Ibn ʿAmmār al-Sukkarī appoints a certain Natan (probably al-Shaykh al-Thiqa Hiba/Natan b. David) to sue various people for various sums of money on his behalf. Debtors include Abū ʿAlī Ibn al-La[...]; Abū [...] b. Avraham ha-Sar the doctor and elder who owes 800 dirhams (and profit); and Abū l-ʿAlāʾ and Abū Naṣr. (Information in part from CUDL.)
