Draft of a long report on fiscal matters. The addressee is addressed as al-maqām al-sharīf (l. 17). The sender (al-mamlūk) describes his dealings with a group of governmental and other overseers (jamīʿ khawla al-sulṭāniyya wa-ghayruhum min khawla al-jihāt, l. 7). The sender had submitted a previous report concerning a certain issue and the addressee had issued an order to convene an assembly (wa-aṣdara al-mamlūk khidma bi-qaḍiyyat . . . fa-kharaja al-amr al-ʿālī zādahū allāh nafādhan bi-ʿaqd majlis . . . bi-mā yataḥaqqaq fīhā, ll. 4–5). The remainder of the text repeatedly refers to the assembling of the overseers. Also mentions Ḥasan b. Ibrāhīm (l. 6) and governmental funds (māl al-dīwān, l. 11). Requires further examination.
