Accounts in Judaeo-Arabic mentioning Bāb Zuwayla in Cairo. The heading on the verso is dated in the month of Shaʿabān with a year that incorporates the "1000" symbol (V) common in early modern documents, but the scribe's intent with the other two digits is unclear (one of which may be samech=60). The paleography of the document supports a dating estimate of post-1000 AH (1591/1592 CE) rather than post-700 AH (1300/1301 CE)–if the first digit is read instead as the eastern Arabic numeral ٧. Requires further examination.
