Description

Verso (original use): Petition in Arabic script. Invokes the trope of a bad person "taking people's property" (akhdh amwālihim) and refers to the caliph (al-ḥaḍra al-muṭahhara). Contains the raʿy clause. Written in a non-professional or provincial hand. Needs examination. On the same side, between the lines, there is a discussion in Judaeo-Arabic concerning trees which makes reference to Mount Gerizim. Different hand from recto. (Information in part from CUDL.)
