Description

Letter in Arabic. The address (recto) states that it is from the younger daughter of Rāfīʿ al-Ḥarīrī, sent to the house of Mukhtār, to be delivered to her brother Abū Isḥāq. Six lines of the letter (verso) are partially preserved. Mentions that a man (her husband?) took "dinars and a gold ring" and "kicked me out of the house, and I wish to come, my brother. . . ." She asks the brother to "get someone from my family for me." Legible phrases: ودنانير وخاتم ذهب اخذها وما . . . واخرجني من البيت واشتهيت لو جيت ياخي . . . المواقتة(؟) ونكون انا وانت . . . عز على . . . وما احتاج اوصيك ان تحرس في . . . تاخذ لي احد من اهلي . . . Same sender as T-S 13J18.3 (PGPID 3282) and possibly relating to the same difficult circumstances.
