Concerning a certain Kohen who is seeking a restraining order against his divorcee and to prohibit her from entering the alley where he lives, because he is scared of her and her witchcraft (כישוף). She keeps visiting her female friends who live in the same alley as he. (Information in part from Goitein's index cards.) Avraham Maimonides served as Rayyis al-Yahūd between 1205–1237 CE and also with the title Nagid after 1213 CE.

The upper text block refers to a transfer from "the account of the (governmental) urban properties to the account of the capitation taxes (min māl al-ribāʿ ilā māl al-jawālī) for Rajab 574 AH = December 1178 / January 1179 CE. The words in the middle are rubbed out but the word "month" (al-shahr) is evident and possibly a number. At bottom left there is a separate entry mentioning the same year, then Dhū l-Ḥijja of "the aforementioned year" (min al-sana al-madhkūra), then the figure of 6 dinars.

Evidently, Abu Saʿīd did not have any heirs of the first degree, and the officials of the diwan al-mawārīth (line 5: aṣḥāb mawarif!)
