الوصف

Two legal documents in the hand of Ḥalfon b. Menashshe (active 1100–38 CE). Recto: legal document concerning an agreement reached between a husband and wife, dated Kislev 14[..] Seleucid = 1088–1188 CE. The couple agree to nullify their divorce and renew their marriage contract. A condition had been imposed on the wife, and failure to fulfill it would lead to divorce, without the right to collect what was due to her in her ketubba. It is also agreed that if the husband’s complaints are verified, she will be excommunicated. Signed by Natan b. Shelomo ha-Kohen (active 1122–50 CE) and Yehuda b. Shelomo.
