"Moses b. Peraḥyā served as judge in the Egyptian provincial towns of Minyat Ziftā and Minyat Ghamr; we possess documents and letters that he wrote in 1220-34, including some correspondence with Abraham Maimuni." (Goitein & Friedman, India Book, p. 84)
