תיאור

Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Elegantly written. Conveying holiday wishes. Written by someone who apparently is a doctor, a muqaddam and a Jerusalemite (he writes, "As I am a doctor, a leader of Jews, and a Jerusalemite, the causes of ambition are united in me [but I wish to serve you instead]"). Involves the banker Abū Isḥāq Ibn Sunaynāt, Abū l-ʿAlā, and Abū Manṣūr. The portion in Judaeo-Arabic deals in part with the purchase of a riding animal. (Information in part from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
