Letter in Judaeo-Arabic. Dating: Probably 11th century. Mentioning people including Abū Zikrī, Peraḥya, the wife of Menashshe b. David, and Ibn Yehuda. Mentions Byzantium (bilād al-Rūm) and that 'the road to the West has opened.' "Do not be afraid of the sea, for if someone comes to redeem captives and to make pilgrimage to Jerusalem, God will aid him."
