מכתב T-S 13J16.22תיאור
Business letter in Judaeo-Arabic. The last letter received from the addressee came with Mikhaʾel, from Dahrūṭ, along with medicinal powders and ophthalmics (sufūf wa-ashyāfāt). However, the vessels (al-zabādī wa-l-kīzān) didn't arrive. The next part is faded; mentions ‘my brother’ Abū Isḥāq and Abū Saʿīd. The sender has sent 15 pounds of flax. Greetings to many people at the end, including Sayyid al-Ahl, Khalaf and Ḥusna. Refers to flax again on verso and something involving [...] the Christian (al-ʿarel) whose name seems to be followed by the curse "ḥaramahū Allāh" in lieu of the blessing "ḥarasahū Allāh." (Information in part from CUDL and Goitein's index card.)
