  1. On day 2 of (the week), 10 days in the month Nisan, year 5 of the sabbatical cycle, which is year 4 thousand and 7 hundred
  2. and 16 A.M., in the city of Damascus. "I, Israel, the groom,
  3. b. (our) m(aster) Isaac, (may his) e(nd be) g(ood), affirm to be married to this ʿĀtika, the virgin, the bride, d(aughter of) (our) m(aster) Naṣr,
  4. (whose) s(oul is at) r(est). And I shall nourish, provide for, clothe, esteem, and honor her, in the manner of  
  5. Jewish [m]en, who nourish, provide for, clothe, esteem, and honor 
  6. their [w]ives, faithfully." She accepted and took upon herself—this ʿĀtika, the virgin,  
  7. [daughter of] (our) m(aster) Naṣr, to serve, attend, esteem, and honor him  
  8. [in the man]ner of the women, the daughters of Israel, who serve, attend, esteem,  
  9. [and ho]nor their husbands in purity. He gave her a mohar of twenty
  10. [fi]ve dinars, and there remain incumbent upon him two hundred dinars, a strong and firm debt.  
  11. [And] she brought in from her father's house: a pair of gold bracelets, a pair of gold anklets, a pair of  
  12. gold [ba]ngles, a gold choker, a pair of gold zaylaʿ necklaces, a pair of gold earrings,
  13. [and a] gold [ri]ng—150 din., a dyed coat, a slip, a brocade "half garment,"
  14. a [...], a slip, a white brocade "half garment,” zuhayrī "bathing clothes"(?), a brocade scarf for the head,
  15. [a co]verlet with borders, two embroidered coverlets, a festive robe perfumed with musk, a festive robe  
  16. perfumed, a white festive robe, a colored Babylonian coat, two linen "bathing clothes"(?),  
  17. A Rūm kerchief—100 din.; 2 velvet covers(?)—2 din., 5 cushions—3  din.,  
  18. 2 silk brocade [cu]shions—4 din., 2 Bahnasa curtains, a pair of raw silk curtains—  
  19. 20 [di]n., a Ṭabaristan sofa with all its accessories—10 din.; a white mwṭly container,  
  20. [be]jewelled, Armenian—30 din.; a stand and a basin, 2 pitchers, 4 chandeliers,  
  21. 2 buckets, 2 wash basins, an oven, a ḥumaydi, 2 cups, a candelabrum,
  22. a box, a cooler, a water container, and serving-tray—all of them Babylonian copper—50 din.;  
  23. a ẓarāʾif container—20 din., and a chest—six dinars. They are her marriage gift and dowry:  
  24. six hundred and twenty dinars. And so [the two sides] took upon [themselves al]l [the conditions of]  
  25. the court and ketubba stipulations and [... "...]
