Letter of appeal for charity addressed to Evyatar (b. Eliyyahu) dating to before 1083 CE when he became the Gaʾon (as he is still addressed with a rank [...] ba-ḥavura in this letter). The sender refers to a woman in the household and that he has no funds to buy anything at all for her, so he requests 10 dirhams. Reused on recto for piyyuṭ.
