Fragment from a bifolium of accounts in Judaeo-Arabic, probably from a wider ledger. One entry on the recto refers to a "second" or "another ledger" (דפתר תאני). Dated in various entries between the years 1209-1210 AH, but the scribe's references to most Hijrī months are hard to follow because of the erratic scribal hand and possible abbreviations. One entry on the recto, however, reads relatively clearly as "by the hand of Jalabī on the 9 of Rajab 1210" (ע׳׳י גלבי פי ט רגב ١٢١٠). Many Anno Mundi months are also mentioned throughout the accounts, possibly somewhere with an equivalent AM year. A variety of names are referenced, such as: Sulaymān אלכראסמי(?), Yaʿaqov Maṣliḥ, Ḥayyim Khaṭr, Ef(rayim) Sonina, Mūsa Najrī(?) (נגרי). Requires further examination. MCD
