  1. A court mission.
  2. We the undersigned went as emissaries of R. so and so the judge, may his Rock guard him, to so and so the daughter of m(aster) so and so, to appease
  3. her for her husband, m(aster) so and so, who has complained for an extended time and claims that she does not perform for him any
  4. of the tasks which wives are obligated to perform for their husbands. Moreover,
  5. he claims that she won’t come into the same house with him. We tried to appease
  6. her, but were unsuccessful. She paid no attention
  7. to our words. Rather, she said, “I do not
  8. want this husband of mine”
  9. twice.
  10. She raised her voice demanding
  11. divorce
  12. and cursed this man, her husband, while he kept quiet. That which took place in our presence we have written and signed, in month such and such.
