תיאור
A small fragment of an early draft of the formal letter of the three Rabbanite congregation of Fusṭāṭ and Cairo, to the community of Ascalon, in the wake of the first crusade. Two fragments of later drafts, partially overlapping but both incomplete, were published by Gil (PGPID 630). The fragment at hand contains parts of the Hebrew introduction. The document at hand seems to be an earlier draft, since an alternative phrase written above the line here (line 9), is found as part of the original text in the later draft. Likwise, an original text here (line 3) is corrected in the later draft. Identification: MY.
