The shelfmark T-S Ar.18(1).123 unites three fragments, which all have Hebrew liturgical poems on one side and remainders of letters in Judaeo-Arabic on the other. All three letters appear to be in the same handwriting, and all the liturgical fragments are likewise in the handwriting of the same scribe (different than the scribe of the letters). It is unclear if any of the fragments belong to the same letter or if they are from three different letters. Fol. 3: Fragment of a letter in Judaeo-Arabic. This fragment joins with T-S AS 147.96. The sender has sent a riding animal (dābba, bahīma) together with Ḥasan b. Moshe along with this letter. The addressee should come in (to Fustat?) with the animal, and he should feed it whatever fodder it needs (aʿlifhā aysh mā iʿtalafat) and charge the sender for it. There are further business instructions followed by greetings to the addressee's son Ghālib, Binyamin Peʾer ha-Qahal, Shemarya, the cantor ha-Kohen, Ḥalfon and his son Avraham. Join: Alan Elbaum.
