תיאור

Recto: Deed of sale, probably, for real estate. Some of the details of the property are preserved, including mention of a latrine (mirḥāḍ, l. 4). It's unclear whether any names or other identifying details are preserved. Dating: likely 11th–13th century. Verso: Addendum (faṣl) for another transaction relating to the same property (mentions something "al-musammā bāṭinahu). Refers to the different boundaries including the western boundary. Mentions terms such as mezzanine (mustaraqa), roof (saṭḥ), and canal (qanāt). Someone has reused both recto and verso for small doodles. As of July 2025 this fragment is not conserved and can be seen only in Cambridge.
