תיאור

Commercial accounts written in a mixture of Arabic script and Judaeo-Arabic. On recto the first three entries each begin "mushtarā" (purchased). A ring (khātim) was purchased from (min īd) Ḥusayn, a ring from somebody else, iron goods (ḥawāʾij ḥadīda) from somebody else. It then refers to חלקת קמאיל which may refer to another kind of ring (qamāʾil is given by some dictionaries as the origin of the term "cameo"). On verso refers to purchasing something from Surūr; there follows a number; and underneath a mysterious word in Hebrew script -- בראגת.
