Recto: Letter addressed to Shimʿon Shemuel Duga, the ḥakham of ʿImādiya. Other persons, scholars and laymen, are mentioned by the writer, who was evidently a native of ʿImādiya but now lived in some other locality. His name is not known because the document breaks off at the end. He informs his correspondents of his impending visit to ʿImādiya. Indeed the journey is difficult for him and he has no desire to see the place again because he has no longer any relatives there.
