Small fragment from the beginning of a letter in Arabic script. Consists of formulaic greetings. The addressee is referred to as 'al-ḥaḍra al-ṭāhira' which in another context could refer to the caliph, but this is a very routine-appearing letter and it is doubtful that the addressee is the caliph. Reused for Hebrew literary text between the lines and on recto.
