Legal document in Arabic script. Dated (line 3): 5 Ṣafar 445 H = 1062/63 CE. Mentions the term ḥawṭa or ḥūṭa (=confiscation?) in the first line; al-Ḥājj Sulaymān; a transaction involving "half of the entire khaṣārī/hādārī ship and half of its equipment, i.e., a sail and [...]"; something "red" held in partnership with Muḥammad b. ʿAbbād; a woman's nursing infant (waladhā/wuldhā al-ṭifl al-murḍiʿ); and another child named ʿImrān. The ink has bled through the page, such that a faint mirror image of the text on recto is visible on verso. Needs further examination.
