Kharāj receipt. T-S AS 183.155 and T-S AS 183.156 are related (same payer). His name looks like Māḍī b. Fakhr الحىىي but this is tentative. The scribe of both documents is named Yūsuf b. Ibrāhīm. After the initial "ṣaḥḥa bism X," it continues "min jumla mā yajib ʿalayhi min kharāj. . . ." It is "for the months of the year 526." T-S AS 183.156 becomes difficult to read around here and diverges from the text of T-S AS 183.155. It seems to be for a total of a single dīnār. There is an ʿalāma at upper right and additional confirmation of the sum in the middle of the upper margin. The scribe's signature does not give a specific date but only "fī l-taʾrīkh al-madkhūr."
