Bifolio (subsequently folded into thirds) of an eclectic selection of incomplete state-related documents. Perhaps the writing exercises or drafting of a chancery scribe, or else an archival copy of documents. There is fiscal accounting, part of a petition (dated [4]58 or [50]8 or [5]58), and an entry concerning a claim made from al-Ṣināʿa al-Maḥrūsa (the port of Fusṭāt). Mentions the payments in reference to "al-zakāt al-sāmī". Also mentions Jazīrat Banī Naṣr and al-Buḥayra. Needs examination.

ويسئل في الانعام عليه والا[حسان اليه]

وخروج التوقيع العالي زاده الله نفا[دا]

وعلوا باطلاق لهم عن ذلك

وللمجلس السامي ادام الله قدرته الرا[ي العالي]

في ذلـ]ـك ان شا الله كتب للعـ[

ذي القعدة سنة ثمان وخمـ[ـسمائة]
Verso
- He asks that benefaction be extended to him, and [kindness be shown to him]
- and the issuance of the noble decree, may God increase its efficacy
- and greatness, by releasing it for them
- And to his eminence, may God increase his strength belongs [the lofty resolution]
