תיאור

Letter(s) and poetry ending with "ḥayyīm" in each line. Dating: late 18th or early 19th century. Most of the fragment contains literary-seeming Hebrew text, but this is followed by a note with regards to various family members signed by David ha-Levi ʿAjamī and another note signed by the well-known scribe and dayyan Meir Ben-Naʿim (fl. 1785-1825 CE), whose wife has just had a baby boy– probably David, Moshe, or Eliyyahu Ben-Naʿim (unless the family welcomed a son who died very young and is otherwise unattested in geniza fragments). MCD.
