  7. امتثل المرسوم في التوقيع الـ[ـعالي زاده] الله نفاذا

  8. ورجع الى ديوان التحقيق الافضلي السعيد

  2. To our lord, the blessings of God be upon him, belongs the lofty and exalted resolution concerning that, if God wills.

  3. It was written in the last ten days of the month of Ramaḍān, in the year five-hundred and four.

  4. Praise be to God alone and his blessings be upon our lord Muḥammad. Our sufficiency is God. How excellent a keeper is he!

  5. The servant and slave

  6. Yuḥannā ibn ’Abī al-Layt.

  7. The decree in the [exalted] minute has been obeyed, [may] God [increase] its efficacy,

  8. and the case was referred to the blessed office of control of al-Afḍal.
