- the Elder Abū Isḥāq M(r.) Abraham b. M(r.) Mevorakh al-Maqdisī, (may his) e(nd be) g(ood), and the Elder Abū Sa‘īd M(r.) Amram b. M(r.) Joseph came before us, […]
- The two of them said to us together, “Testify on our behalf, perform a qinyan with us effective immediately, write and sign for us in all the appropriate legal formulae and the expression[s of certainty]
- and in all language used for claims, in order that we would all have, effective immediately, proof and a legal claim, that we attest before you in our good health and the freedom of [our will,]
- willingly, under neither duress nor force nor compulsion, with neither negligence nor error, with neither illness of disease among us, nor any of the like from all the factors which invali[date]
