Upper fragment: Internal state/fiscal report. Dating: unclear, maybe 12th–14th century. After the basmala, opens with abbreviated taqbīl and inhāʾ formulae. Conveying information about a man named Shaʿbān b. Ibrāhīm (or possibly Saʿdān b. Ibrāhīm) and his companion and a sum of money equaling 12 dinars. The last line may refer to a venture not being successful ("fa-lam būrika amr shaʾnuhā"), but this is doubtful and needs further examination. Underneath there follows an itemized account (tafṣīl).
