תיאור

Bifolio containing eclectic jottings including an account for the year 1466 Seleucid = 1154/55 CE and a crossed out draft or summary of a legal document. The account is on the lefthand page of recto and is headed: "account of the price of the fulled shuqqas (? אלשקאק אלמקצור) and the cotton (אלקטן) which I purchased for the poor for the year 1466: 417 dirhams." Then mentions Munajjā al-Kohen; Abū Manṣūr; and the Heqdesh. The legal text is on the righthand page of recto: Abū l-Majd b. Abū l-Faḍāʾil al-Ḥazzan acknowledges that he owes Abū l-Faraj b. Sulaymān al-Bayyāʿ(?) 100 dirhams, which he will repay with installments of two dirhams every day(!) beginning on Sunday the 11th of Ṭevet 1467 Seleucid. Verso contains some further accounts (e.g. "that which the Gentile took which we purchased..." and several other text blocks which are pen trials and/or literary.
